The TACO 18-1/2 inch Command Ratchet Hinge is an extended version of TACO’s heavy-duty hinge for longer seat backs up to 22 inches. It locks in one position at 62.5 degrees and has a hard stop at 105 degrees. It suits sun pads, bolsters and lounge backrests.
It works for single or double seats and cushions up to 4 inches thick. The hinge mounts above the deck. It’s made of polished Type 304 stainless steel and passed a 500-hour salt fog test.
As a pair, it meets ABYC H-31 class B with a 500 ft-lb torque load rating. It measures 18-1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide and is sold in pairs. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more general boat outfitting.
