The Streamlight TLR-1 HL is a black high-output weapon light that delivers 1,000 lumens, 20,000 candela, and a 283 m beam. It runs for up to 1.5 hours on two CR123A lithium batteries and uses a broad beam pattern to illuminate both the target area and nearby surroundings. A weapon light in this output class is intended to combine target-area illumination with quick access to controls from the mounted position.
The machined aluminum housing uses an IPX7 waterproof design and ambidextrous controls, with a programmable strobe available when needed. Rail locating keys support installation on compatible Glock-style and 1913 Picatinny systems. A sealed aluminum housing and purpose-built controls are practical features for equipment that may see regular range, field, or duty use.
For a permanent mounted setup, keeping spare batteries and verifying mounting hardware periodically are sensible parts of routine equipment care. The finish on this version also gives buyers a way to coordinate the light with the rest of the host equipment without changing the basic operating platform. The Streamlight TLR-1 HL 1000 Lumen Black Weapon Light should be matched to the intended rail and control preference before purchase so the complete setup works as expected.
