The Shadow-Caster SC3 is a 3.4 inch bronze full color-change underwater light producing 3,000 lumens at 24W, rated IP68 with a 120 degree beam.
Three point four inches is the smallest fixture in the Shadow-Caster range, and that is the whole reason to choose it. On a small transom, a stepped hull or a boat with limited flat area below the waterline, larger lights simply will not fit. Three thousand lumens from that footprint is a considerable output for the size.
Full color change gives the whole spectrum rather than a color fixed at purchase, so the lighting can be matched to conditions or to the rest of the boat. A 120 degree beam spreads that output wide rather than concentrating it, which suits lighting the water around a boat rather than throwing distance.
Surface mounting below the waterline needs no alteration to the hull, and everything is integrated into the bronze housing. IP68 covers continuous immersion, drawing 2 amps on a 10 to 30 volt input that suits 12 and 24 volt systems alike. Explore more underwater lights.
