The Scandvik flush mount spreader light is the third-generation version with five 3 W LEDs. It puts out about 1,000 lumens, similar to a 120 W halogen. Cool white light with a 110 degree beam lights the deck evenly.
A composite trim ring snaps over the housing and hides the two mounting screws. It fits the same cutout as older models, so upgrading is easy. The cutout is 4-1/2 x 1-1/2 in, and the light measures 6 x 2-1/2 x 1-3/4 in.
