The Outdoor Edge RazorCape Orange Replaceable Blade Knife is a lockback folder built around RazorSafe replaceable blades. It comes with five 420J2 stainless blades: two drop point, two caping and one gut hook. The caping blades are small and precise for working around the face, ears and antlers when caping a trophy.
RazorSafe is Outdoor Edge’s replaceable blade system. Press the release button, slide the dull blade out of the holder and click in a fresh one, with no sharpening needed. That keeps a scalpel-sharp edge on hand through a whole season of skinning and processing.
The knife is about 7.13 in overall, with a black glass-reinforced nylon handle and an orange rubber inlay for grip. The blade holder is black oxide coated 420J2 stainless, and a thumb stud and pocket clip are built in. A Kryptek nylon belt sheath holds the knife and spare blades.
