You have hit on my favorite hanging basket planter. The large rustic Dillan is made heavy to handle the elements. Notice we used chains for hanging and the extra pictures show what I did in my flower garden. From the hook at the top to the bottom it measures 36″ with the diameter at 26″ and the planting depth is 6″.
The post was a relic left from an old satellite dish. It is there to stay so I topped it with this planter. Next year I will add my favorite sedums. They like it dry.
