Jugs Protector Blue Series C-Shaped Protective Screen
The C-shape is Jugs’ fastpitch screen: 7 ft. high by 5 ft. wide with a 33 in. by 18 in. cutout, a low tight window matched to a windmill release, and netting that wraps back on the throwing side. Its 5 ft. width fits a bullpen lane where the 7 ft. L-shape will not.
Blue Series construction is 1.5 in. diameter 1020 cold-rolled steel tubing at a 1.2 mm wall, bolted joints, 60 ply double-thick Dacron poly-E netting, and half-inch pearl-foam padding under blue vinyl. That puts padding on the frame at a lighter wall thickness and a lighter net than the black tier. A travel program or a school hitting a few sessions a week is the buyer here. A facility running screens hard every day should look at the Protector Series C-Shaped Screen with its 2 mm frame and 691-90 ply net. For youth and backyard use, the unpadded Standard C-Shaped Screen has the same dimensions and cutout.
