The Icom standard hand mic is a factory-fit replacement microphone for the M304 and M412 fixed-mount VHF radios, matching the original connector and control layout.
A worn or cracked hand mic is one of the more common reasons a working VHF radio starts to sound weak or intermittent on transmit, since the mic element and PTT switch see the most physical use of any part of the radio.
Swapping in a factory replacement is a straightforward fix that avoids guessing at a universal aftermarket mic’s fit or wiring. Check out the rest of our communication accessories.
