The Faria Beede Platinum Water Temperature Gauge is a 2 inch water temperature gauge reading 100-250°F. Overheating is easier to catch on a gauge than by sound or smell. Platinum series styling gives it a spun aluminum dial, a polished stainless steel bezel, blue LED perimeter lighting, a backlit fire-orange tip pointer and Faria’s domed glass fog-resistant lens, which sheds condensation and resists scratching.
The gauge reads a temperature sender whose resistance changes as engine temperature rises and falls. The change in current through the meter moves the pointer. A matching temperature sender is required and sold separately.
It fits a 2.0625 inch (53 mm) panel hole. The factory part number is GP5084, and it is sold individually without a gauge cover. Check system voltage and sender compatibility before final wiring, especially when replacing an older gauge with a similar face size. Browse more marine gauges.
