The Burris BTC Quick-Release Rail Mount Adapter mounts a Burris Thermal Clip-On (BTC) in front of a conventional riflescope. It gives the thermal a quick-detach Picatinny interface. It’s made for rifles with forward rail space, including many AR and modern sporting rifles.
The quick release lets the thermal move between rifle-mounted and handheld use. It’s built to return to position repeatably after removal. That lets one clip-on serve as a weapon-mounted device and a handheld scanner.
